| Mr. Bruck is an industry expert in developing
secure Internet applications, collaboration systems and Internet Security.
Mr. Bruck has over 20 years of experience with the analysis, design,
development, and implementation of complex information technology systems.
He was previously Director of Information Assurance for PEC Solutions,
managing secure e-Government projects for customers including the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA), Social Security Administration (SSA),
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the USDA’s National
Finance Center (NFC). Career Highlights:
CSOS Chief Technical ArchitectChief Architect for Drug Enforcement Administrations Controlled Substance Ordering System. Advised DEA with respect to PKI and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). Established overarching assurance level, enrollment model, and Bridge CA architecture for DEA’s E-commerce PKI. CSOS Federal CoordinationTechnical Lead for DEA’s coordination with Federal Agencies including the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST), Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), General Services Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Social Security Administration (SSA). CSOS Industry CoordinationTechnical Lead for DEA’s coordination with Industry organizations including Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA), American Society for Automation in Pharmacy (ASAP), American Medical Association (AMA). Developed Industry Request for Information (RFI) in support of DEA’s E-commerce Bridge Certification Authority model. Led numerous CSOS technical briefings to organizations including HDMA, ASAP, AMA, and APHA. Presentation at 2004 NIST Knowledge Based Authentication ConferenceKBA, Responsible Use and Scoring, Mr. Bruck discussed the effects of the Fair Credit Reporting Act on individual credit report monitoring and the concept of “self-policing” as it relates to knowledge based authentication and the combat of identity theft. County of Fairfax Virginia, Court Automated Recording System (CARS)Mr. Bruck led the development of the County’s first web-based Court Automated Land Records System. Developed initial architecture and design, and managed the development of the web based system that web-enabled the search business process to allow citizens and subscribers to search the county’s land record database from any web browser.
